The only Christian church in Madison to have services in ASL – not interpreted! Our Lord gives us His Gifts in the Divine Service every Sunday at 10:30. Please introduce yourself to our Pastor before coming to Communion. Our worship is in American Sign Language (ASL) and English at the same time. We are a Deaf congregation, so the focus is on ASL and Deaf communication. You can follow the order of service on the PowerPoint screen as you participate with the Pastor and the worship leader.
Our worship is centered around God’s Gifts in His Word and His Sacraments. We use the liturgy of the Lutheran Church, gently adapted for Deaf worship. The Lord comes to us, to show us our sins and bring us to repentance. Then, He forgives our sins because Jesus has died and risen again! The hymns, Scriptures, sermon, Sacrament, and actions of our service all work together to bring us God’s grace. Then we get to thank and praise His for His blessings!
FELLOWSHIP: Members of Our Savior Lutheran Church gather with joy and warmth, embracing the powerful connections that uplift their spirits before the service begins. It's a beautiful reminder of the strength we find in togetherness as we support and inspire each other on our journeys.
MEMBERS: Let’s come together to foster even deeper connections within Our Savior Lutheran Church family! Embrace this wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds, share our stories, and uplift one another.
CORN ROAST: Let’s cook some delicious corn together and enjoy a fun time with our friends from other churches!
